Talk what i understand!!!

I can never forget my roots even if location may ask me to. The Ugandan in me is just too prominent to allow these "summer" ways of life to take over. So when i head home for the holidays i have to get my English straight so that when i talk, the members understand.....so here i am practicing...TEST 1 TEST 2

1.Just; In Uganda this is a response to tons of questions that begin with WHY. See, my people are not people who love explaining. for them the things are JUST obvious. "Why did you slap that kid?"-Just. "Why did you dress up like Mother Gaga??"-Just....everything is JUST FOR JUST aka J4J...The word is short, easy to say and seriously that is a very convinient answer that saves time. four letters and you have summed up an explanantion of 100 wors that would be more like..."you see I love Gaga but well at home i didnt have clothes so i was like why not put a few leaves together."

2. When the shoe is too small, your leg is too big: You know i grew up knowing the feet were to be placed in the shoes....and the legs were not the features from which shoe sizes were taken...I have a lot of catching up to do with 2011.

3.Mwami Musoke, kendeza ku radio-says the CBS presenter.......Dude reduce on your radio-says the KFM presenter........bruh tur ee down mayne i can' heeeeree yhue...says the HOT 100 presenter....you have to keep up...just in case you are the kind who calls up stations to ask for dedications to your jilted ex. The word volume should never feature in your sentences-that stuff was for the Physics lab of the presenters' secondary school only.

4.Wama: see when you see that you are not winning in an argument and there is a third party called to see who is right and who isnt...it is advised that you use this WAMA word before your opponent does. The third party will definately join your cause even if it very stupid. and as we all know strength is in numbers.

5.Kale:.."You have refused to show me what you got for your boyfriend? Kale!!" sometimes you'd think a mini curse could follow such lamentations. Thing is what the speaker is trying to say is "SO THAT'S HOW IT IS.AYT..ITS LIKE THAT" but as i mentioned, Ugandans are not time wasters....say the things chap...let your feelings out in a summarized form.

6.Atte-it just joins two sentences more so when you have more than 4 more reasons why you think Namusoke is an ugly girl...see she is ugly atte i know she knows it atte i know where she gets it from atte for real you havent seen that thing she calls a lip atte....it goes on and on

See, i am only helping you tourists out...and in turn bringing profits to the tourism industry! These words can pull you out of the gangaster hell created by the lumpens pimping around da streets-I SWEAR YOU NEED TO COPY THIS SENTENCE DOWN. or else...no one will leave you to your just for just time

Signing out just
Pinkay
